Athletes and sportsman can only demonstrate their full and exclusive performance with perfect gears and sports equipment. A perfect gaming rig is also essential in pc gaming competitions and SteelSeries is one of the leading PC gaming peripherals suppliers in the gaming world. Few months back, SteelSeries introduced Rival 310 and Sensei 310 with claims to be most superior and precise gaming mouse in the market. That claim was based on their TrueMove3 sensor, a new custom gaming mouse sensor which it developed in collaboration with PixArt to deliver 1 to 1 tracking. TrueMove 3 sensor is basically a custom-engineered version of Pixart leading optical sensor PMW 3360DM, used by one of the most recommended gaming mouse Logitech G502. Now recently SteelSeries introduces Rival 110 gaming mouse with a TrueMove1 optical sensor.
With the Rival 110, the Danish company presents the successor to the Rival 100, which has been uncompromisingly designed for the requirements of competitive players. With a custom TrueMove1 optical sensor (rumored to be either customized Pixart PMW 3320 or PMW 3330), the SteelSeries Rival 110 comes with 7200 DPI resolution to ensure optimal control over the game play in every kind of situation. This right-handed design is suitable for all types of grips and its light weight i.e. only 91 grams allows any gamer to have precise and agile movements. You can program buttons and your mouse setting (profiles) can be stored directly in the mouse memory, allowing you to use them on any setup without needing any software. Additionally, to give you that weird yet satisfactory gaming feel, a synchronized lighting setup can be achieved with any prism-enabled gear.

Mouse Design And Ergonomics
Rival 110 uses the same shell as Rival 100. The simplest design and comfortable shape of the SteelSeries Rival 110 is best for right-handed users. It includes smooth edges with a rising mouse back and a rubberized sort of soft plastic textured sidegrips with an anti-sweat coating, which eliminates the complaints of slippery grips in rival 100. Complementing the ergonomic buttons of the mouse and good side grips, the Rival is an absolute recommendation for PC gaming. The version offered here comes in the matte black and looks particularly noble.
Switches and Buttons
The mouse has SteelSeries proprietary switches made for gaming. The high quality switches offer a long lifetime of at least 30 million clicks before any failures occur at all. The mouse click remains subtly quiet, while a fast, tactile sensitivity is ensured. The key clicking has also been revamped for an improved click feeling.
Mouse Sensor, DPI and Sensitivity
In the middle of the Rival 110 is a specially developed TrueMove1 sensor that promises the most precise movement sequences. With the sensitivity of up to 7200 DPI with 30 G scceleration & theoretically up to 610 cm / second speed, makes this sensor one of the best in its class. Just like 310 series, Rival 110 also boast 1 to 1 tracking technology. Basically, as per SteelSeries, 1 to 1 tracking is about making your mouse movement matched exactly with on screen movement. 1 to 1 tracking eliminates negative or positive acceleration, sensor lags/delays(aka smoothing) and angle snapping thus giving you most accurate and precise movement at any level of DPI/CPI.
Lift Off Distance
With a particularly low lift-off distance, the professional sensor also works particularly precisely and accurately. Some people find mouse feets a bit off due to a bit of friction but overall they glide fine.
With the SteelSeries Software 3, you can set DPI levels and save your information in infinite profiles, 6 programmable keys or adjust the speed and acceleration of the mouse as well as store all profiles in the internal on board memory of the mouse.
In addition, the RGB illumination of the mouse can also be adjusted. This can be found in two different areas of the mouse (hand-held and scroll wheel) and can be customized individually with 16.8 million colors in several brightness levels and three different light effects as well as different intervals.
Custom TrueMove1 Sensors
The TrueMove1 sensor gives low-latency along rapid-response tracking which delivers most accurate and natural mouse movement. With true 1 to 1 tracking, 240 IPS and 7200 CPI mouse delivers best functioning for competitive gaming.
You can save all the settings including functions, macros, lighting and any other type of setting on your mouse memory. You keys remaps and the settings are stored on onboard memory of mouse so that you can freely use them in network gaming events, even without SteelSeries software.
